Open up. (Balassi)

Open up. (Balassi)

So stuck for words to say,
seem to have lost your way?
You seem so very distant,
withdrawn in your own world.
No utterance in hurled?
Self containment persistent.
Troubles brewing inside,
seems like you have lost pride?
Outer shell so resistant.

What has made you turn cold,
your story should be told.
You should break your long silence.
Let out your pain inside,
torture to be denied.
Please forgive my arrogance.
What is causing you strife?
To close yourself from life?
Do explain your aggrievance.

Open up, let it out,
rid yourself of all doubt.
It is clear, your depression,
always sad and withdrawn.
Let your problems be gone
Do not live in regression.
Speak and I will listen,
problems we can straighten.
Overcome this repression.
