The Tulip

The Tulip

She was running towards him in a tall grass plain.

He looked at her knowing that she kept him sane.

The tulips went whipping as her legs swept through.

She knew that feeling of love when its completly true.

They had such a past, and they loved every day.

She remembers every detail, in every single way.

How they met, and when they first kissed.

When she goes away she will surely be missed.

She finally reached him, and they rolled on the ground.

She looked up at the clouds, the birds and their sounds.

He woke up that night sweating, and crying.

She only had so long, because he knew she was dying.

He went to her funeral as heartbroken as ever.

He lost his true love, and he will be lost forever.

Walking slowly as the grass swayed, and swayed.

He fell to his knees, closed his eyes, and he prayed.

"Dear lord hear me ,and please here me well.

If I could have her back ,my soul I would sell.

I know thats a sin, and I  hope you can forgive me.

I would do anything, give you everything, just to make you see.

Please take care of her lord, and please make her grin.

Please take her in ,and forgive her of her sin.

She is an angel, and better than the greatest men.

Tell her  I love her, and miss her... amen."

He got up, and he walked to a flower basket.

He gently placed a tulip upon her  casket.

He bent down and whispered to the love of his life.

I will see you soon my friend, my lover....my wife.
