Taste Of Oranges
Like a sweet mist
From northern shores
Sending heaven
In peach schnapps
Talking freely
Talking freely
Walking in beauty
Amber flowing
Radiant posing
Sleekest cat going
Sleekest cat going
Seeing is knowing
Taste of oranges
Not forlorned yet
Talking freely
In peach schnapps
Sending heaven
Walking in beauty
Taste of oranges
Please tell me what you think

such a relaxing image with this. 'sleek cat' having the readers imagine themselves absorbed in jazz, a cool drink in summer sun... amongst the subtle and more direct alliteration of the piece, this poem has us wanting to be in such a scene.
vivid imagery to pull us into the poem and perfect summer scenario.

Hi Bob,
In the taste of oranges
new rhymes are forged as
you listen to more jazz
playing sweet as oranges
Okay, that was bad.
But I liked YOUR poem.
Who else but you would even attempt to rhyme with such an unrhymeable word??? It's great to see you with a rather whimsical write such as this. Awesome!
Much love,
~J.
