Champagne sentiments
Nature can't reassure us
that the sun will rise.
Of course, yesterday
someone spilled pink lemonade
on the horizon.
And we warmed ourselves
hopeful, some childlike god's
Sherbert fingerpaints.
Reality falls
fire fleeing deception
during night's black reign.

wow
this one shone for me~ i like it. usually when i read haiku's they're usually strictly nature poems... so it was a nice read. great pictures struck into my head and knocked me over. and it's all your fault~
good luck

Amazing.
You have a gift for imagery and really painting a picture in a reader's head with your word choice.
Great work here. -

Thank you much. I struggled with the last stanza, because I was just out of inspiration.
