Solid Like Rock

I know the words are not enough.
What else can I say(?),
To cope without a voice (or you),
Is like waiting to praise you speak,
And to feel you freely slip away,
Is like waiting my time to pay.

I cried the whole way "Don't Bury Me!"
(It was gone.... The past was gone)
So don't forget "it" once was "we".

I'd take you for this all...
I'd take you for this all...
I blame myself.
It was my fault.
Forgive me please.
I'm hanging on by threads,
As I slowly pass away,
By soft pummels to the head.

So I slowly drink myself to sleep.
Drinking myself to waste.
I hope without a voice (by fate),
You read between those bad dreams,
And extend your arms again to me.
Please! Accept your love for me!

I cried the whole way "Don't Bury Me!"
(It was gone.... The past was gone)
So don't forget "it" once was "we".

I look up and.... just stars.
I look up and.... just stars.
I know you care.
We can't be done.
I know you stare.
The sky is always there,
Saying we move along.

            Together,
        Forever,
  And Never give up hold.

very depressing poem with a hint of hopefulness but it's fading away and your trying to revive it. great job and good luck
