Left Behind - Rondeau

My hope still reigns, but nothings right

I wonder though the pain at night

Guilty of tears shed in many ways

Left with my soul and heart ablaze

….Love and joy now missing from sight

Lonely the storm absent of light

Bruised, broken in endless fight

Excessive agony is this phase

….My hope still reigns

Dismal laughter fills me tonight

Wish you would only hug me tight

My heart inflamed and hope shall raise

Blessings now to fulfill my days

….My hope still reigns

Some of the lines seemed to be awkwardly worded, but other than that it was a very descriptive, visual poem and I enjoyed the form. I've never read a Rondeau before. Very well written.

This is a very lovely Rondeau, my favorite lines are:
"Guilty of tears shed in many ways
Left with my soul and heart ablaze"
I absolutely love your verbiage and imagery in this poem, great job on this and with the word bank.

    SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Even in our darkest moments there is always that faint light, that faith and hope that what was once will come again.
