Yeah I said it....I guess you can say its about how you are in lovw with someone but the stupid idiot doesn't even really know you! I want lillies not roses...

A touch of innocence in this poem. Spiffy. I think most of us are waiting for the "right" person to come along and give us exactly what we want, but if we set that bar too high, he or she will never come. Our dreams will remain simply that...illusions made by our naive hearts.
The last two lines remind me of You've Got Mail because of the different mention of flowers. I really enjoy those movies. In You've Got Mail, Meg Ryan likes daises, claiming them to be so "Friendly". What makes you like lillies, B?

Most meg Ryan Movies rock! I simpley LOVE Sleepless in Seattle....made me want to go there...I cry every time I see that movie and than there's City of Angels...Another movie I cry ever time I watch it for hours.
I'm a sucker for movies like that...
And for the lillies....they are just so pretty and calm. Like they stand for innocence...Roses are nice but a little cliche. -

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan have really good chemistry on screen. As for City of Angels, I think it's one of those movies you watch to just feel sad, and it gives you a bigger perspective of life. I really like the song Iris that came on the soundtrack. I named my car that because it was the first song I listened to in her. Have you ever seen Sweet November? That's another movie like City of Angels, only more down to Earth. I want to visit Seattle someday. Between all the movies and Grey's Anatomy, it looks worth a trip, though I'd never live there.
I really hate that roses are cliche; they still remain one of my favorite flowers. The history and the romance behind a rose is so extraordinary, but people have abused roses so much... It's like, when in doubt, get a rose. I think if one knows how to use roses romantically, they still might be able to work...I think... -

yes I have seen Sweet November...It was a nice movie..same kind of feeling you get watching City Angels. I was watching it agian for the thousand time and my mom walked in and was asking me why was I crying. Then she saw the movie and was like...oh.
