she whispers her consent
and I fly aloft among these thoughts with wings
she touches my soul
and I am aflame with such powerful dreams of omnipotence
that translate into magic
she cajoles and tempts me with her promises
of endless words that flow like heady wine
until the well becomes a trickle
and my thoughts scatter like dead leaves in a sudden storm
I am desolate
with out her to woo and court me once more
her moods are contrary
and violent as sudden death
yet...
she is as gentle as an angel's sigh
and fills me such wonder and awe
my muse of shadows and light
who asks so much of me
and gives until I burst
my serendipity lover
whose wants far outstrip my own
and the price I pay with
is my soul...
Author notes
I wrote this about my personal muse... who owns me body and soul...

Lovely
This is a very nice piece that reminds me quite a bit of my own muse. She seems to be in a bit of a tiff with me. =D I really enjoyed reading this poem, you did a great job.
Peace and Love,
K.
