She won't let this demon defeat her anymore
She breaks off hard steel chains and lets them hit the floor
The blades now gone, throwen away in fields so far
She smiles because she knows they're gone, no more scars
One year ago this took control of her world
She was just a soul so broken, a lost and lonely girl
She won't let this take her over, she's breaking free
Light has shined her way and now happiness she can see
So cutting shall be a memory, of her struggle with the blade
She'll wear her scars with pride that she had made
Because her scars show that she could defeat her fore
No one thought she could, no she didn't even know
But look at her know shining because she's strong again
Cutting was with her for so long, but now that time does end

I don't know you from a hole in the wall, but right now, I just want to hug you!
Throwing the blades away for good takes a lot of courage and willpower; it's not an easy thing to do, but being proactive and taking this approach will help you to better regain control over your own life. Let me say, I am so proud of you, as you deserve to be proud of yourself

I could really feel the power in this poem, just by reading the first 4 lines, your message in this poem comes across so clearly to anyone who reads it.
