I reside in a world of darkness
Locked within depression
But i obtain a key of happiness
That moves me from destruction.
It lifts me into a world
Where i am free and happy
My sadness has uncurled
Leaving me smiling and laughing.
This is my Neverland
Where all the fruits grow sweet
I lick honey off my hand
And there's all the candy i can eat.
The grass is a mossy green
That feels so soft between my toes
And the prettiest flowers ever seen
Smelled for miles with my nose.
Here are all the friends i need
Of lepracauns and elves,
And sugar plum fairies
All filled with loving wealth.
But at dawn i must return
To where i'm no longer serene
To my life of painful burn
Until again i dream.

an invite would be nice, this sounds like a beautiful place, its so sad that you have to come back to your bleakness, but it means the rest of us get to share your company, beautiful poem from a beautiful soul, as usual.

I loved this. The description was great and the flow was enchanting. I was really happy with the way you started and ended with similiar story lines giving it a more full and while feel to it. good job!
