Laying here on this white sheeted bed
My eyes closed, my mouth smiling
My hands caressing your hair
Your fair skinned cheek on mine
Your eyes closed, your mouth smiling
Your hands around my chest
Our breaths slow and relaxed
Even though we know it's the end
That when tomorrow comes I wont be here
That when tomorrow comes you'll be alone
But we are still enjoying this silence, this peace
Eyes closed, mouths smiling
Hands warped around each other
Breathing easy in this stillness
Love warping our bodies together
No vivid images, no violence
Just silence, peace and love
We both are trying hard not to think
Of tomorrow
Both trying to spend these few hours
In complete happiness
Both taking enough of this moment
In silent kisses
Eyes closed, mouths smiling
Hands warped around each other
A silent good night, a tearless good bye

this poem you have written is so special to me.
I lost my girlfriend in a car accident only last month and your poem has brought back the beautiful memories of night that we spent tougether and the gentle goodbye sounds painless. I am now at peace with myself.
