Hey, well welcome, this is me
What you get, is what you see
Sometimes I'll perch somewhere at home
And gain inspiration to write a poem
I'll see a flower, cat or tree
And know that there, is a bit of me
I like to sit and write a ditty
I'll tell you now, some parts aren't pretty
I can be cruel, calculating and cold
But we'll all be like that, someday when old
I may be immature, a little child
I can be crazy, or have a temperament mild
Please don't judge on what you read
Just believe I plant a seed
One that grows from imagination
Often dwells through concentration
I love my emotions, my soul and heart
And now my thoughts, to you I impart
Hold them close, and listen once in a while
They might make you sad, or crack a smile

I like this a lot. I especially like the lines: "I see a flower, cat, or tree/ And know that there, is a bit of me."
I've not heard of inspiration described just like before, it's so simple, yet says so much. -
