In the midst of shadows
Lies the pain of what’s not known
Where our deepest darkest fears
And anxieties are grown
But also in that darkness
A little angel lives alone
Looking for lost innocents
Who need to be brought home
She never gives up searching
Nor does she give up hope
She sprinkles faith all over
The parents who must cope
So rest assured and feel
The angel touch your soul and know
That wherever little Madeleine is
That precious angel’s there also
