pirate poem

Hoist the colours high maties
drink till ye hearts be merry
plunder and pillage
ransack every frightened villiage
wealthy gentlemen of fortune we shall be
hoist the anchor, port to starboard
bring me that horizon
lest we be curse-ed men
forever we shall sail, under our mad captain
all scurvy leeches do hail!
scavorous dogs heave to and take in sail
we be pirates of fortune
may our life style never stale
fear the krakken and shun he who bears the black spot
for these omens seal our fate
in the locker we'll surely rot
oi! where be the rum and the captains undead monkey?
the mischevious little bugger is wild and spunky!
all hail the captain he who has our fortunes in mind
a mutionus crew, well be rewarded very unkind

Please tell me what you think

I like the idea, but it sounds a little too much like Pirates of the Caribbean, unless that's what you desire. "Bring me that horizon", "hoist the colors high", and"undead monkey" sound like you're putting the movie in a poetry form, so if this is your tribute to the movie, I think you should make a note of it.
