The rain outside the window
is the rain inside my soul
you promised you would stay
but now there's a you shaped hole.
And I don't think I can survive,
I'll let it wash me away,
Losing grip, losing [lost] you.
I don't know why it affects me so,
as it never lasted long
but this is something that the
rain.
Cannot damage
& in the end I think we'll find,
that the rain scatters thoughts
& gives way to grey skies.
What have I become?
Author notes
I love walking in the rain, 'cause then no-one knows I'm crying.

This is a great piece, and i like the first stanza the best i think. 'a you shaped hole', that is my favourite line. It conveys sadness, andfits the quote. Good luck, and thanks for entering chick,
Xx
