Girls like blue skies

The sea is a man in disguise.
Waves pounce, roll, lick, chastise,
wild and hungry, it attacks and retaliates,
churning and gurgling, it always flows.

But the horizon offers a pearly glow,
immutable and sweet and open like a gate.
I don't like you saying the sea is in my eyes:
good girls like blue skies.

    immutable...

I like this work... very thought provoking my friend!

It's a minor thing but there's a typo in the third line (attacks)

    Good luck in the contest!
