Dirty angel

She sits in the darkness, not daring to speak
For he might hear her, know shes not asleep.
If hes not in the mood he will let her be, 'stop shaking' she whispers, angry at the sounds of her own breath.
Please not tonight, the little voice in her head, I want to play tomorrow, last night you said yes. But today too painful, all day in that stink ridden bed.
All because of him, who she did not hate, instead, thought him as an angel, one who made Mummy bleed.
"But he makes me happy", ringing in her ears. 'He is your father now, not my fault your ones dead.'
He left me aswell, dont cry those childish, selfish tears. You're be better off with him, if you dont behave yourself.
Foot steps louder, he knows shes gone. No escape now, it will continue, no exit, dead end.
Maybe another day, he'l tire of me soon. She squashes herself closer, tighter to the wall.
This must be normal, what all bad girls get. Maybe if I wish harder,I could too be dead.

OMG! This makes my skin crawl and is all too real. I can relate. It happened years ago (many) but it still feels like yesterday. This really breaks my heart~
