Five thousand little birds
Twistle in the wind- intertwining
their shrill springtime wails into
Tapestries of sound.
The broken bones of winterstricken
Villagers are woven whole.

Great poem but I don't get the whole thing with the villagers. The title is interesting...it really drew me in. Keep writing

Loved the part about the birds!
When they gather and in unison fly in their little patterns like sheets in the wind! Got to tell you I didn't quite catch the last part on why the villagers were so winterstricken.
But makes me glad that summer is here!
Thanks for your wonderful entry & Good Luck in my contest!
