Another empty hole in my life,
where your presence used to be.
Memories are all I have left,
of a friendship of such purity.
Sleepless nights and endless days,
stretch into a dark lonely void.
No more to hear your uplifting voice,
or share the laughter we enjoyed.
No words can express how I miss you,
or the depth of sadness I feel.
Loss of someone so special,
left a wound that will never heal.
Life now feels like a vacuum,
removing the good, leaving the bad.
Taking away my hopes and dreams,
left with an image of what we had.
Dear friend I will always love you,
thank you for the time we shared.
I hope that you know and remember,
our friendship was beyond compare.

Recently marked the 1yr anniversary of the death of a very dear friend of mine,though no one said a word,the world continued,as it should....I ached. This echoes that very feeling,so alone in the memory of us,that no one can ever really understand. Real Friendship,is just that unexplainable. This is beautiful.
I am sorry you are so familiar with this ache.

This captured true friendship. I also felt like the old picture was moving in a way. I seriously know the pain that you went through, I hope it's not personal. This was a "from-the-heart" write and it was great. It had nice flow, and great rythm. Good luck.

Jeannie, I remember you telling me the story of the loss of your friend..She is always with you..I understand you longing for her physical presence..But she left you some precious memories..Think of her and smile..and the words she would say if she were there with you..

SO SWEET AND ALSO KIND OF SAD
We do not forget our closest friends even as they go their own ways. It is a sad state but friendships do so often separate and go in separate ways.

oh.. this is soo sad and the same time so terrific that you love a friend like that, that friend must feel very proud to have someone like you as a friend.. and let me tell you something, good facts and times we dont forget.. they stick in our hearts
