Eyes closed
finger tips tingling
heart aching
as he faded away
memory of his words
'You'll always be my blessing'
etched upon my heart
In my darkest hour
He always comes to me
Reminding with his spirit
How good love could be
finger tips tingling
heart aching
as he faded away
memory of his words
'You'll always be my blessing'
etched upon my heart
In my darkest hour
He always comes to me
Reminding with his spirit
How good love could be
Author notes
This was inspired by contest holder's (Whoochi) poem Distant Tears
Tenderly taking
the tips of my fingers,
to his loving lips...
reflection of my
stained-glass soul
seen in his eyes
moonbeam smiles
dance across his face,
leaning in
whispering
babys-breath words,
all too often heard
"You'll always be
my blessing"
as a single aching tear
spills over his
cheek,
he
walks
away
