Window on our World

we know far more than we are aware
of: you beside me at this window stare
at what is there to see that God would have
us see  to do what we must do to see
what others see and know the you of you
and me rejoice what we can do and be

a rose given bring pleasure yet thorn-
pricks bemoan the shock  a flower born
behold delights of pure love everknown
within the soul pictures return to bring
seasons held dear: joyous the times of dusk's
jasmine captured in memory's tear

what is the rose but sign of those
who mourn in bitter scorn?
true blooms alive in ever-life
while bite in frost may hide
in lingering sound of fight of strife
of war of curse of lie

be oft aware of dust and rust
forever heed hate's cronic crust
by Love uncovered wrath of past
gifted by words souls hold pure hearts
swirls of sensations set apart
by hardship and by holy chart

healed within tender moments sealed
in blooms seeded in needs revealed
yet: do not mourn a flower lost
see clarity in sacred gloss
of God which in hope's core resides
faith is alive and love the tide

my love is ancient predestined
on breeze of summer fall of rain
neither in covers thick from chill
nor gloved by sheets of cotton cloud
naked the soul serene in thrill
and soft the knowing of our trust:

a gentle God
with us in us
a deep knowing of healing Love

Author notes

Thank you Ken TJIE, for the words shared in knowing. This world is but in transit ... forever the knowing we are in His Divine Plan.

If you look on the background chart you will see the Lycian town "MYRA" ... This always instigates an ancient tremble within my soul ...

i beautifully hopeful and inspiring. but i too believe that god is good nor evil,(but unlike the previous commetenter gently doing what he himself is saying other people are doing [check the commen sense line]) and that we are burdened with the fact that sometimes we have to do what is necessary, i'm sure there are a lot of things that god doesn't want to have to do, but does them. we are the same way. it's the balance between good and evil, peace and anarchy(within ourselves), that we are truly all that we can be. check out my latest post though.

    not in his divine plan
    but his divine plan
each expression of self is an expression of god
because god is the sum of all
god is not good and is not bad
    but both through everybody actions
there is no way by discovering god that discovering yourself (the microcosm inside we were created after his model after all) but you should respect everyone else's right do express themselves
everyone makes mistakes but remember someone died for your right to search your self; and if someone questions his divine origin then should not waste his gesture as a human being 'cause in that case he sacrificed everything.
as a human being you should consider yourself pure in the creator intention and start ignoring whatever any malicious entity being and intention might have had labeled as rule trying to stop you in your efforts to discover the truth about yourself.
be tolerant with others and honest with yourself and maybe you'll find out god is common sense as uncommon as it might appear
truth is not as far or as inaccessible as religion or other means of mass/mind control situates it

    Beutiful Myra!

Yes, our God is a gentle God, and if we only let him, he will heal us all. But, we will have to make transition, I think.

My old eyes finally found Myra on the map, it took me a while though! And I'm sure it does put a tremble on your soul, I think that's just wonderful!

    Lovely write, Myra.

    Much love to you, Brazos
