You are a formidable foe my dearest friend
And here we are like time and time again
At the table of blood and bargaining
You are my equal and you have had your run

Dead as you may be I have better things to do
Your life is to precious to take so simply
Stabbing you in the back wont matter anymore
Like Brutus, this has to be done

In the cycotus I will freeze, in Satan's tears
His wings beat and I see my treason
much like him I am stuck, my struggle pointless
The winds blow and I'm in misremembered visions
God the choices you have looked better 
It looks even better over your cold shoulder

Im not and evil person but I need to see
This bridge burned to the ground
