Were we so evil
Who did we hurt
Our crime was our love
No one came my beloved
No one cared
I stand here with nightshade and hemlock
The required elements for the rite
They beat and killed you for you were different
They will come for me as well
For I loved you
As we agreed
We shall always be united
In life
In love
In death
They shall not take me and hurt me any more
For our love is eternal
I take freely of the potions.
I give this life up to journey with you.
I leave a single rose as the last flower I will give you in this life.
Wait for me for the elixirs now work.
Author notes
so much for loving your neighbor.

The poet has effectively portrayed the intensity of love and the duality of it's desparation akin to romeo and juliet by the bard himself, great usage of language, indeed love cannot be wrong only the judgement placed upon love, good luck in the contest and well done.

So sad yet special. Having a love such as this must be almost as a burden. But at the same it is very beautiful. Great write and may you have many blessings.

Very nice write - it was dark and somewhat dangerous (for maximum effect hum the tune to 'Twilight Zone' here)

I enjoyed this write, it was a bit different to what I normally read from you, but it was very well done!
