There are many fish in the sea
Yet I choose to cast pearls before swine
I learn that all that glitters is not gold
Another broken love story to be told
Oh this love is blind
Love is not about who you can live with
But whom you cannot live without
Yet your absence fills my heart with doubt
Love conquers all
It’s better to have loved and lost
Than to never love at all
But I regret the pain of this bitter fall
T’was love in your eyes and lust in your heart
I see the writing on the wall
If you love someone.. Set them free…
And I’ll pray forever that you come back to me.

Excellent
I know this is probably going to be the most lame comment I have yet to give you but, pardon me anyway. I love this Helen! Words cannot even come close to expressing just how fantastic this really is!! Dripping with one cliche after another, the first stanza being my absolute favorite, this is truly darling. Thank you for laying it on thick! I love you for it and for entering!! Brava, brava!!

Wow, you've got everyone beat here. This is marvelous, you've put so many in here, and it doesn't feel like it at all. I can't say enough how well this reads. I especially loved the first stanza, but I really just love it all. This is an excellent entry. Good luck in the contest.
