My head hits the floor
I lie very still.
Perhaps if I look dead
They'd move to another victim.
A life in my shoes
Is one you can not tell.
Full of sorrow and hate
Its unimaginable as well.
Is it my fault,
That I look different from them?
That I was born with a defect
That no one could fix?
Must I be put to blame
For all my families faults?
Be categorized for what was done
And never looked upon again?
You see, this world we live in
Makes us feel like something wrong.
Like we can not express ourselves
A freak of nature with a quill.
My poems are my release
From this world of massive pain.
I only hope my peers
Don't come back here again.
