the wind whispers through
the fall of her straight blond hair
her teasr are threatening to let loose
but she holds a strength beneath those tears.
hes telling her his heart is twisted
hes not sure which way to go
she could be everything he ever wanted
and just maybe the one he needs,
but theres still this other girl
threatening to come in from behind
taking his heart from her outreaching hand
[shes taking in black&&white]
what will she do if he leaves?
she started to count on him;;
wanting him around when she feels alone
just to hear his laughter;
just to see his bright eyed smile
[you take the breath right out of me]
&&now hes pouring the liqour over the open fire
running sensations;;gasping for air
the moon in behind them
as he kisses her[not so]slowly
in this cool, april night.
she told him shed never forget this
he only smiled&&laughed
[shes a hopeless romantic
what more could she say?]
and now shes telling him
to follow his twisted heart
shes wondering hoping it'll lead to her
she gave him her trust
&her heart later to follow
but hes alrady given his heart to hers
she doesnt want to be the one
worth leaving as she was before his love
so shes asking him again
in the dark of another brand new night
for him to take the chance with her
&&everything they could ever be

she whispers as she slowly falls to sleep
