Thoughts

She holds infinity in her hand
Grasping the chill of life,
In her eternal search
For boundaries
That are not there.

Society persues
The aimless wanderings
Of the selected few,
Discontent,
that they have led
To the emptiness
of age,
The emminent departure
of death.

It is fear, I think,
that compels us most.

    Deep!

I actually had to read it twice because it made me think. I like that it is very philosophical, and yet short. I don't know exactly what I got from it, but it was definitly worth reading. I was interested from the very first line. This is one of the most memorable poems I have read in a while. EXCELLENT poem!!
