How far will I continue in the wrong direction?
I lost my way many miles back,
Without even the compass of the stars to guide me.
Feel it in your veins as you move your feet
One at a time.
It feels like once upon a time,
But then I know this can't be a fairytale.
"And they all lived happily ever after"
Really isn't an option for me right now.
You seem to be content just hiding behind that glass.
If it always pains you to see me,
Why do you even bother?
Why do I even bother if I know your angry face
Will just be staring back at me?
Sometimes life seems so unreal,
Like a dream I can't wake up from.
I only wish it were a dream...

I know a lot of people will probably write about pain, but I was looking in my notebook and found this poem that I wrote a long time ago, and decided to enter it. It's not really very personal, so don't worry guys! It might have been a little at the time, but I tend to exaggerate stuff to make it more emotional. Hehe.

Wow! Very impressive, beautiful, and true. I loved this piece cuz it all made so much sense to me and is so relatable. I think my favorite line was line #3. It just was so poetic and beautiful. Good luck!!!
