I run not from the night
But from the little boy
He is scared
And scarred
I cannot help him
Though I want to so bad
I am a predator
I do not kill just for fun
I hide in the shadows
Waiting
Sometimes getting nothing
Now I do not hide
So that a buck cannot see me
That little boy
I wish I could help him
But he wants me to take him
Out of his misery
I cannot kill
This little boy...
It is not in my nature
Author notes
Shadow is the name I gave the werewolf in the poem. this portrays the view that a werewolf does not neccessarily want to kill even if they have to...
