Holding me close as I sleep,
a beautiful goddess sleeps next to me.
Our bodies in slumber, our souls meet
in our dream, dancing among the stars
swaying til eternity our shadows shown
unto the world as we make love on the
moon. I open my eyes to see my only
dream come true, my sweet wife a galaxy
filled with countless stars will never
compare to how much I love you. I look
deep in your eyes, such an amazing sparkle
that lights up my skies. Your hands gently
squeeze mine it fits so perfectly, your heart
beats with my own as one forever we'll live.
A bond like ours is rare to find, my love
for you will exist til the end of time.
Side by side we stay strong, and face the
world, and overcome anything. Your touch is
so soft burning tingles I feel within, my
core filled with fire, an unbelievable flame,
something longed for in dreams, fate linked
us together sealing our souls feelings so
deep, extraordinary desire. I smile so much
my darling wife you make me so happy. To see
your gorgeous smile, makes my heart skip a beat,
you protect me under your angel wings, if you
only knew how the sound of your voice makes me
sing. As the years go by watching sunsets, swaying
on our swing, my angel since day one you have made
me whole our lips will touch, our hands strength they
will behold, emotions growing by each passing second
as one we'll grow old. The oxygen in my lungs you
provide with tender care, with faithful love, respect,
and support I'll always be there, our bond is out of this
world something history doesn't bear, no fairytales can
possibly share. My wife you're a priceless gem, like a
rose you glow, remarkable flawlessness you truthfully
show. I always knew I was born unto this world for a
reason, as you place a sweet kiss upon my lips,
clarity flashed before my eyes, the only answer to
my life, my precious wife you are my reason to live.

I just have one suggestion, instead of just writing it in one big paragraph, what if you had and enter everytime theres a comma or something like that, i think it would help it flow better...

Beautiful. It's amazing how much love you can have for another person. My boyfriend and I got into a fight the other day, and were planning on splitting up forever. But, we ended up going to the movies that night, and kissing romantically in the back of my mom's car by the end of the night. It's amazing what a connection two people in this world can have. Your devotion to your wife and your ability to express how you cherish every small, usually long forgotten detail of your love and your time together and how you feel about her is priceless. When most marriages grow cold and ordinary with the daily mundane grind, yours seems to still have the vivacious exuberance of a teenage love. I can only hope to one day have a love so true and reciprocate as well. She is one lucky woman and this is one very inspirational piece. -

This is beautiful. Your wife is so lucky that you're devoted to her in such a way. It's reassuring to hear about a marriage that is doing well when all you hear about are climbing divorce rates and such. You did a really good job at bringing honesty to this. A lot of times you read "love poems" that try too hard...but this, this I could tell was truly heartfelt. Well done!
