Reflecting by a pool
Of lilypads
The flowers colors
Glow upon the surface
The sound of a bullfrog
Letting out the loud sound
Of his voice
To remind me he is there
In my favorite spot
I look down into the
Three dimensional pool
Of green, then yellow
And the black bottom
Of the muddy sand
And there I see my face
And the colors I am wearing
Looking back at me
A time of reflection
Not only of what I see
But what I see inwardly
Through eyes of my heart
And spirit, and my mind
Truly, this place is beautiful
I think to myself
Is that not what love is
Not always, but at times?
Sometimes one cannot see ponds' colors
Because of a cloudy sky, or rain
That makes things look dismal
Lack of color, like lack of love
Makes things drab, uninteresting
Lacking passion for another
And the passion for life itself
But there are many that do not experience
Love, but are passionate people about life
But this one thing I know
This woman is passionate about life
God, heavenly things, people, love
That is truly sincere and lasting
Love that is unconditional,
Love with laughter,enjoying every minute
Of the gracious gift God gives us
Oveflowing with Gods' love to all people
No matter what race or creed
This woman is passionate about sincere hugs
Lasting love, that forgives the past
And hopes for the future,for wholesome
Quality love to the deepest degree
Between a man and a woman joined by God
With His blessing His will to be
For God made it so,to enjoy
He has made all things beautiful
In our time on earth
So,I pray I will take advantage
Of all His gifts to enjoy,and bless
This life He gave to me and bring
To His world, joy, love and happiness!

Very reflective! Did you know that it is almost impossible to take a black and white photo of reflections in water and retain the depth of image? Colour is needed to show the detail. Interesting.

's Nature has always been my inspiration and early playmate in life.
's It is while out playing along my favorite stream and in my favorites woods that God and I met and became friends. If one ever doubts that God exists all they have to do is to find some woods and walk out into the middle where there is no noise and listen, Or sit by a stream and listen to the flowing water and let its soothing sound enter their heart.'s

i think the key here is the sense of reflection i feel, the awareness of life is second and the joy of discovery, third. Your poem has so much maturity in it, yet it is light upon the heart, as if a teenager were held captive in the sage, where trust win out, where hope sings true and where the dreamer awakes to see the face of God. Your poem is best when read aloud and often.

A blessing it must be to know one’s self, to enjoy the love of another and be able to return that love to them. There are times that I wish I was joined by another especially on days like to today where the rain in pounding on the window and the wind making the boards creek how lonely these sounds are right now the lighting only seem to laminate my misery. I love this poem.

I loved this piece, I felt with the trials my heart is facing, I found a place of beauty to rest in your words. Sometimes it is hard to live life with the enthusiasm of which it was intended then created, sometimes it is just enough to put one foot in front of the other and get through each days pain... don't get me wrong I do not think he would give me more than I could bear... but sometimes all I ask for is a little sunshine in my day.... sunshine that sometimes never arrives.... I am rambling here what I wanted to say is this is gold....
