Falling in love again
was fun with you
my heart sang to the music,
our bodies hanging up-side-down
in the “bat” position
The distance was spanned
Easily accessible conversation
filled our souls with meaning and happiness
until the distance became a tool..
wedged between two hearts to break
Falling now, without a net
truly, without wings
passion, conversation have moved on
I am left, changed for fair and for worse
If I am jaded, I am forgotten

Long distances can make or break a relationship and more often than not, it's the latter that happens. Your poem was excellently written as I could feel the pain with which you wrote this piece. Thanks for your entry and good luck!

Very Good
Falling now, without a net
truly, without wings
passion, conversation have moved on
I am left, changed for fair and for worse
If I am jaded, I am forgotten
This is so well done
though some will wonder for the Bat Position
I know the feeling of falling, and falling away
Love it
Rick
