i wake up in the morning
to see your smiling face
by noon ill be mourning
because you made me a disgrace
why does love always let you down
leaving you with nothing to say
but i refuse to frown
it wont happen today
i went to sleep with my tears
the ones you made me shed
you hang me on my fears
but im leaving them in bed
why do men always tell you its not you its me
why do they leave you and walk away
but im not gonna cry because it wasnt meant to be

im not going to play this childish game

yet to me its not even a bother
why do you come to my home

im frozen like a garden nome

I like the way you've used the phrase. Here and there the flow seems a bit off to me, like in the 4th and 5th stanza. Thanks for entering and best wishes.
