"Neverland"
By Michael J. Branch
Teardrops fall in an otherwise empty world,
Glistening grass, magical pearls,
Clear blue skies on the yellow brick road,
Perfect symetry flows,
The tin Man shines in a perfect sunbeam,
as Dorothy hides, remains unseen,
a Kansas Blonde, and a lost little girl,
As the little white rabbit exits this world,
The Queen of hearts puts on a feast,
as we overlook beauty and we overlook the beast,
Fashion is passion in this mystical world,
Imaginations unfurl,
Take me back to the shining sands,
Take me back to Neverland,
Fly away just take my hand,
We're heading home to Neverland
Sometimes it's nice to just live a fairy tale life.....
Please tell me what you think

OH Nice one Mike way to go on a Sunday evening chilling out with a glass of red and a Queensland winter....damn the glass is empty but not for long.
If only life could be as you say but then no think I'll just take my escapes in poems like this one.
Thank you for the pleasure for the read Mike.
