my new prayer...

Missing image
Oh God

please fabricate a ship for you
well in advance

since

very soon you may witness
a gushing flood at your gate

as

my new prayer is conceived
by a drop of my tear

Oh God....

As an epic writer and preferring myself to rhyme, this is as freshing as you can get for such a small peice, hopefully, I can take those blinkers off and appreciate this refinery.

    A lovely piece...

A lovely piece; this is an interesting depiction of God's principle of "Increase"; since God can walk on water, I highly doubt that He could drown (lol) - in any case, I loved the sentiment portrayed. Perhaps He would build a well instead to capture one's tears. --Joe

I love this, Dear Prabhu. Our prayers wrought through tears bringing God close to us...Impeccable and irresistable. Of course this is golden and well deserving of this award. Peace to you, Rhonda

Oh, this is such a sad poem that you have written here. It seems to be filled with all this melancholy and need to get past it all. I know I've certainly had moments like this where I wish it would all just pass so that I can get on with my life and living it. I thought that you did a good job with expressing that feeling.

I like this piece a lot. It's simple but holds such a strong emotional message inside. I especially like the lines

    "my new prayer is conceived
    with a drop of tear"

    Wonderful work
