This vision, frozen in time
forever imprinted on my mind.
I have wept tears of the damned,
nothing left but this image of a broken spirit.
Every moment and thought crystallized,
never to emerge from this frozen wasteland.
Pearls of transparent tears trickle
as I now comprehend.
Never open your heart,
for the ache freezes contentment.
