While The Whole World Sleeps

When mournful tones stir you,
windswept songs of a graceful dove
will warm your hearts sorrow,
weaving peace throughout your dreams
while the whole world sleeps.

~*~

Wonderful mysteries of the night
wisk away the weariness of yesterday,
when suddenly a new day has begun
waltzing in upon a new dawn,

while wilting flowers unfurl to full bloom.

    Special Hood-wink

This reminded me, not only of how much I love the beauty of the night (and things other people find atrocious - like spiders), but of how sometimes writing comes easier when we are sad and sometimes the best poems can come out of the worst things.
