Just chilling,
Having a coffee
On a pavement cafe.
Then a blonde girl,
Out of this world,
Walked by.
Into the cafe she went,
Returned with a latte,
Sat at the table next to mine.
"Excuse me", I say,
"Have we met before?"
She looked at me funny.
She got up and walked away,
She didn't stay.
Have I met you before?
Just chilling,
Having a coffee,
On a pavement cafe.
Then a blonde girl,
Out of this world,
Walked by.
Into the cafe she went,
Returned with a latte,
Sat at the table next to mine.
"Excuse me", I say,
"Have we met before?"
She looked at me funny.
She got up and walked away,
She didn't stay.
Have you read that before?

This gave me quite a chuckle. Definitely deja vu, or perhaps memory problems in the case of the narrator. It's actually a double deja vu, since the woman and the poem itself both seem familiar. Well written.
