What is in a declaration
Of an emotion
A feeling?
Why declare
You eternal love
When
Your words
Mean as little as
A passing glance
Why would you
Declare a love undying
When you can show such a love
In a simple touch
Of the lips
A softest kiss with enveloped hands
I have nothing to declare
Yet all I know in my life
Is the love I hold
For that one special person.

Why declare you love some one? why do you do that when a simple act with that special person can say more then even the greatest poets?
