Conceiver of curious necessity
calls for continuous life’s chapter
to be closed.
Comedian of the canvas can color
a completely new concreted rainbow
contrasting in the skies.
Conceptual cubism’s jagged shape
connotes the hint concerning Picasso’s
motivating past chronology.
My creative callous hands bare burden
of cast-off pigment paint
chafed with constant commitment.
Charmingly colored conception
completes my daily chore
careful complexion shown unto the world.

I'm an artist, what can I say.

lol yes you are
You are an artist, in many respects evidently. I also paint (not very well mind you, but it's more a release and a therapy for me). I love your descriptions and your reference to Picasso (one of my favorites!). I also love your word choice - absolute perfection - like painting a picture using words as your pigments and language as your brush. Very well done yet again. I am extremely impressed by your poetry. It expresses an original and creative take on ordinary life that only an artist could capture.

Loved it!! It showed your artistic side for sure!
One question, "a completely new concreted rainbow", maybe "concrete" rainbow? Not sure...
BUT .. very sound, solid piece, thanks and good luck in the contest!
