THE APPLICATION.
The original multi- round competition is back, and is larger than ever. Having successfully completed six prior seasons, and nearing the end of our seventh, it is time to look for a new batch of poets. In a challenge unlike the rest, we set the prize high and the tasks even higher. Since our series first began, we have given away nearly 30, 000 points and are about to dish out more. Do you feel you have all that it takes to be crowned one of AllPoetry's leading poets? Are you eager to compete in a contest that is far more than a writing experience? If so, then please read our terms and conditions below.
. This year, The Council has been formed. The Council is a group of prior contestants with long- standing achievements on the site. They are back this season merely as observers; helping to judge, create and eliminate the up and coming blokes. All decisions are made final, and are declared as such. Arguments with a verdict will produce nothing.
. Behavior of contestants is evaluated by The Council of poets for this season. Any action deemed inappropriate by this group will result in a punishment. While it has been custom for arguments to arise, we do not advocate such discourse and will not tolerate the cyber- bullying of others.
. This competition is full of many twists and turns. Accept that now, or leave this page. Contestants are to be challenged at all times, and will not be subject to a smooth and predictable game.
. Deadlines are taken very seriously. If you are not able to complete an assignment, you are to contact us in advance and request a small extension. The decision will be made at our discretion.
. Tasks will vary in nature, and will often require work with either a small group or partner. However, this is an individual competition and only one winner will be named.
. Do not apply if you don't have the time. This competition should run about a month and a half; two months at the extreme.
