Love is as beautiful as a flower blossoming in spring
Love is a sweet butterfly graciously flapping its wings
Love is a lesson that can only be learned first hand
Love is as pure as water, dirt, the sky and sand
Love is a temple that is true in all of it's forms
Love is the first ray of sunlight after an all night storm
Love is the first kiss leaving you feeling whole and just
Love is a privilege that can be experienced by all of us
Love is a test of patience, respect and of value
Love is a gift to another treat them right if you know how to
Love is a moving poem that has a chance to enlighten someones mind
Love is not game of roulette because we all start off blind
Love is ones soul in which you forever wish to see
Love is more than lust, well it means a lot more to me

For one to fall in love, one must be truly open minded and be willing to except their partners for who they are and what they stand for.

I feel you on that on the authors note. Well because I dont love him yet but I like him for who he is hes personality because hey i know beauty fades. But anyways this is a good poem and I really enjoyed reading it Im glad someone knows what Love is. Also I just love the metaphors each and everyone of them. My favorites are "Love is a moving poem that has a chance to enlighten someones mind" Thats what this poem did to me.

Yea true because a soul is something you cant see but you know its there.
