According to Websters, a poem is anything that conveys a thought or emotion more powerfully than that of ordinary speech. I think you did that. Anyone says this IS NOT a poem, tell them to go eat animal crackers. I'm SO sorry you lost Vicki, hun... words always sound so hallow, for this type of thing...Just know, I'm just a few pages over if you need to talk.

I like this poem alot. I thank you for sharing it with us. You know a poem doesn't always have to rhyme. It's the feeling and the emotion that brings it out. And most of all the story and situation. I would like to say again nice poem, and good job. And sorry for your lost. God is with you always.
