Shewolfnative Poetess

And it is to her
my breath is lost.
No eyes can fail
to acknowledge,
this poet's song.

Like the masters
of yesterday,
they may have been so
just of their day.
I can only pay homage
to them then.

It is on this day,
I take pen in my hand.
To honor this poet,
one who pours beauty
and fills my soul.

Poet of poets,
I await tomorrow.
To learn of the new masters
living today.
Where once again,

Shewolfinative,

will take-
    my breath away.

How the spirit soars at this. It always amazes me that we reach out and touch who needs touching. I have been touched over and over again and I am no less touched by this. and ty.

There are none more worthy to be touched than you.
For those of us whom you have touched, can only touch you with our love and gratitude.

I agree with you, Albert...there are many moments I sat after reading her incredible words, entranced before the screen, forgetting to breathe...Carol is one of my best friends on AP; she, Zayra & Nicolette have inspired me more than any others...Please consider adding the link to her poem to your author's comments so that others may witness the genius of that particular piece...Thank you for entering...Good luck in the contest...Be well, Poet...
