The Modern Day Romeo And Juliet.

White dress tinted scarlet,
Blue eyes dulled grey.
Blonde hair dyed black,
Todays her final day.

Perfection strangled her life,
As her hand gripped the knife.

Eyeliner laced the eyes,
It never did hide such lies.

The pain was quickly silenced,
As memories stirred within her head.
She kissed the device she held,
As her perfection stained red.

Her smile carved perfect,
Another web of lies.
Her braclets hid it well,
The tears fell from her eyes.

Society's veiws upon her,
Were shattered the moment she screamed.
She was the perfect angel,
Or so her life had seemed.

She took what was left of her life,
On a July rainy night.
And still he sits with her picture,
Wishing he had noticed she wasn't alright.

He wasn't her prince charming,
More of a fairytale boy whore.
But He realized she wasn't perfect,
And this was what he adored.

He held the device she had used,
To take his heart when she took her life.
He kissed her picture and smiled,
As his skin was slowly pierced with the knife.

He could finally feel,
That reality was surely real.

He took one final moment,
And thought of the time they met.
Slowly they became known as,
The modern day Romeo And Juliet.
