Mr. Amazing, a.k.a...

I would write you poetry,
Draw you pictures of your very own;
I would sing to you (on key!)
And bring you Tulips, homegrown
(I have no roses, but oh, if I did!)
You could have the whole garden,
Every mum and orchid,
And I'd plant them again,
Just so you could have more.
I would do all the laundry,
Take care of every chore,
And you could watch TV
While I run to the store.
I would do all your bidding,
I would reach to the stars!
If only you would let me know...

Just who you are.

    lovely

..and he would do these things for you too!

An excellent list ...ranging from the everyday tasks to "reach to the stars" and of course the poetry.

I really liked the touches in the bracketed parts.

and the "I'd plant them again.
I admire how you have rhyme but i don't notice it at first. That is a difficult so skill... so hard for me to do that I only use it in a jokey way.
Two little cavils...you say he could have every rose two lines after saying you have none... it could work but it jarred.....
and surely you would not just "let" him watch TV.
Everyone can see this is fantasy but it is within all of us to give all of ourselves for the sake of true love.

and I like the dots at the end of the title...waiting for the applicant to fill it in.
    Well written

Usually I don't like rhyming, but lately I've been finding it fun to try to fit rhymes in without making them obvious. I changed a couple things around - the poor man will just be receiving mums now, since that was the only one-syllable flower I could think of (and I actually do grow those, so it's even better!) :-P And now I'm not so much "letting" him watch TV as just allowing it when I'm gone. :-D Thank you so much for commenting on this and making suggestions, they really helped. :-) I always love seeing comments from you.

Oh, not at all - the entire time I'm doing chores and what-not, he can be outside hauling brush and mowing the lawn, and then maybe take a trip to the gym. :-D Besides, I never mentioned who would be taking care of the kids. O:-) hehe, love you too!
