Horse (No Title)

These hooves will be my wings
Embracing the aches of the earth
With such ingenious melody that
Even the gods scream to be free

And your mane holds the zest
In a breath of the fervent winds
Painting a palette of raw souls--
Barefeet fluttering among waltzing dragonflies

Your eyes cast a sunset over the reborn world
Tempting me to run at your side
Till the night in your pelt teaches me to fly...

Inspired by my wonderful horse, Pheonix, along with all of the brilliant equine species. Just something I scribbled on a peice of paper a few days ago... no real editing or much effort. xP Enjoooyy!

    I love the imagery of that first line... not to mention "Barefeet fluttering among waltzing dragonflies" is beautiful as well.
