Nothing personal
Just my muse
It has its own mind
And it does choose
Sometimes it takes me
To a happy place
Other times the place is sad
I don't engage in rhetoric with it
When it shows up
I'm simply glad
Glad for a chance at sunshine
Or chances at romance
I'd settle for what it brings me
When and how it will enhance
I never entertain the thought
Perish the day, I say
~When my muse calls upon me and I let myself get in its way~

Excellent poem. I like the way you put this out. That muse that comes and goes. Very Very good.

You are pulling my leg, and I quite enjoy it...no just kidding, thanks for encouraging my sweet tooth. Everyone else has me on a short lease, they don't want to indulge me.
