I procreated a boat
I set up it in water to navigate
I dreamt of flowing across the stream
but in vain
God landed between prophesying
that I am sailing a paper boat once again...

On first reading I did not understand this open write. Then I read the author note and contest and now I see such a beautiful sentiment here in your 'paper boat' dear poet. This is a tremendous response to the emotion placed in the referenced poem. I would gladly look for the tide to bring this boat to shore...So eloquently written, so subtle, and so spirit filled. You have once again shown the divine touch upon the ordinariness of human emotion. Awesome! Peace to you, Rhonda
