November’s gift;
So precious, so beautiful, so sweet
Waiting to emerge this cocoon
This cavity;
God’s angels bless mother with baby.
Nine months of anticipation,
A new creature has sprung,
Hatched like a newborn chick from an egg;
A mother’s true love.
Snow gently falling outside
As fairy dust sprinkled upon Cinderella;
“It’s me and the moon”
She whispered to the Heavens.
An immediate bond
That even the strongest
Magnetic force in the world could not break.
A bond so secure
That it could shield one thousand storms.
True beauty embraces
This little bundle of sweetness;
Its tiny fragile fingers grasp mother’s thumb
So tightly to never let go
A new love has blossomed like a rose,
And will never cease to grow.
Baby’s skin so supple—
Like touching the wind;
You feel it breeze along your skin,
Just like a baby’s;
So delicate, so soft
Like you’re not even touching it at all.
Mother’s eyes shining brighter than the sun,
Cheeks glowing vibrant shades of rosy pink;
Mother has brought into the world her only one,
She found her missing link.
More ecstatic than her wedding day,
Her heart and soul is thrilled;
It’s November the 10th,
And out of her womb
She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

I believe you don't know what true love is until you bring a new life into the world; your own flesh and blood. Even though I don't have a baby, I know by my own mother's love; she would die for me and my siblings, we are her world.
** For AngelWatchingMe-- I was born on November 10th, as it mentions near the end of my poem, but if you do decide to use it for your baby book you can change it to the 14th when your baby is due. I hope all goes well for you, and that the little miracle inside you will be born healthy Take care!

this made me think of my mother. she has never found true (romantic) love, but she loves my brother and me so much. she has sacrificed everything for us, and she doesn't even regret it! i think im going to give her a call right now. thanks for reminding me how much she means to me!
